Cooperative Advertising Opportunities 2026

CMBA is excited to once again coordinate collaborative advertising opportunities designed to increase the visibility of Maine’s cooperative economy while lowering the cost barrier for individual co-ops through shared participation.

These programs aim both to highlight participating co-ops individually and to educate broader audiences about the strength, diversity, and impact of Maine’s cooperative ecosystem.

Below are two upcoming opportunities open for interest to members of CMBA – deadline June 15, 2026.

Option 1 – MOFGA Fall Magazine & Common Ground Fair Guide

Overview

Participate in a collaborative full-color, full-page advertisement in the upcoming MOFGA Fall Magazine and Common Ground Fair Guide.

As in previous years, the ad will:

  • Highlight participating co-ops through logo placement
  • Educate readers about Maine’s cooperative economy
  • Include a QR code (in bottom right corner) linking to participating co-op websites

This publication reaches a broad statewide audience with strong alignment around local food systems, sustainability, and community economies.

Estimated Exposure

Based on prior publication metrics, the MOFGA ad opportunity is estimated to provide approximately:

  • 70,000 print impressions
  • 10,000 online impressions

Participation Pricing

Participation is offered on a cooperative sliding scale:

  • $225 – Supporter Rate
(helps subsidize reduced-rate participation while still saving ~$350 compared to a standalone 1/8 page ad)
  • $150 – Standard Rate
(offers substantial shared-cost savings while saving ~$425)
  • $125 – Reduced Rate
(intended for smaller or emerging co-ops while saving ~$450)
